River channel railings are visible in construction projects and can affect the overall appearance of the project. The quality of the project and the accuracy at multiple scales directly impact the overall situation of the project, and the quality requirements during construction are relatively high. However, due to the characteristics of the shape of river channel railings, construction technology is not easy to implement. River channel railings refer to the railings installed on bridges, aimed at preventing uncontrolled vehicles from falling off the bridge and beautifying the bridge structure. What are the precautions in the manufacturing process of river channel railings? Next, we will introduce them to everyone:

1. Base material casting: The casting of columns, beams, rails, and column caps, as well as the ratio of base materials, is determined by the laboratory. At the same time, the base materials for preparing columns, beams, railing panels, and column caps should use both coarse and fine aggregates. The base material mixing should use a forced mixer, and the material measurement errors should comply with TB10210 regulations. The mixing time should meet the specifications of the mixer used to ensure uniform mixing.

2. Columns, upper and lower beams, railing panels, and column caps should have sufficient strength, rigidity, and stability. The deviation in the length, width, and height of the mold should be +2 mm. The mold should be cleaned before pouring, and a release agent should be applied to the inner wall.

3. Reinforcement welding and coating: The shape and size of the processed reinforcement should comply with design specifications, and the surface of the reinforcement should be clean and undamaged. Oil stains, paint, rust, etc., should be thoroughly removed before use. Reinforcement with granular and flaky rust should not be used, and the reinforcement should be straight without local bends. All intersections of the welded reinforcement framework should be welded, and the cutting length and distance deviation of the reinforcement should not exceed ±5mm.

It should also be noted that the preparation of columns and column caps adopts the "casting-vibration" forming process, while the manufacturing of beams and railing panels adopts the "casting-vibration-layered" forming process. That is: pouring the base material (surface layer).

River channel railings play an important role in the bridges we use. They not only prevent vehicles and pedestrians from crossing the bridge surface but also serve a decorative purpose for the bridge. Their aesthetic appeal is also a key measure of a bridge's quality. However, river channel railings inevitably face some external factors, such as surface cracks and color differences, which can long-term affect their quality and create safety issues. Therefore, throughout the construction process, supervisors need to strengthen the oversight of various links before and after construction. For defective areas, relevant personnel should be organized promptly for repairs and handling.
