In life, everyone must have seen municipal guardrails. Municipal guardrails, also known as urban traffic galvanized spray-coated steel guardrails, are aesthetically pleasing, easy to install, and reliable at a low cost. Traffic guardrails are a type of traffic facility set up on the outer side of the road shoulder, traffic separation zones, and pedestrian road curbs. This is a form of municipal construction, generally used for isolation between roads and separating certain toll stations. Cautious individuals must have noticed that some guardrails have reflective strips installed, while others do not. Is it necessary to install reflective strips on municipal fences?

The main purpose of reflective strips is to reduce the risk hazards for drivers at night. It is well known that the range of vehicle lights at night is limited, making the driver's field of vision more restricted. Night driving has a significantly poorer observational learning ability compared to daytime, and information from vehicles at night can easily lead to visual fatigue, which can result in dangerous situations. Therefore, it is essential to minimize the potential hazards of night driving.
If reflective strips are not installed, it is very easy to collide with the guardrail while driving at night. Sometimes we may see municipal guardrails on the road being damaged and disordered, with some even lying across the driving lane, causing a lot of inconvenience to pedestrians. If drivers are a bit careless, it could lead to new accidents.

Of course, this not only causes losses to public property but can also result in injuries, which is something we do not want to see. Therefore, to avoid this series of consequences, municipal fences need to have reflective strips installed.
